Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your family will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your comfortable family-friendly lodge in Arusha.
After checking in, enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the lodge. Depending on your arrival time, your family can enjoy the swimming pool, relax in the gardens, or take a gentle walk around the property. In the evening, your guide will provide a safari briefing and explain what to expect during your family adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most family-friendly wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its giant elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, open grasslands, and fascinating wildlife.
Upon entering the park, begin your first game drive. Children will enjoy spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, monkeys, warthogs, and colorful birds. Your guide will make the experience educational and entertaining by explaining animal behavior and identifying tracks, birds, trees, and other signs of wildlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
