Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
The remainder of the day is free for relaxation after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel, enjoy the garden surroundings, or prepare for the exciting safari ahead.
In the evening, your safari guide will provide a detailed briefing about the itinerary, wildlife expectations, accommodation, and daily activities.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees, vast savannahs, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, which attracts large numbers of wildlife throughout the year.
Spend the day exploring the park while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, ostriches, and more than 500 recorded bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive through different habitats, where your guide will search for predators and other wildlife based on recent sightings.
In the late afternoon, drive to your budget lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
